How the Moth-Blocker™ Works
The Moth-Blocker™ is made of galvanized steel mesh with square openings of less than 1/8'' on a side. Because the individual wires are relatively narrow, this yields an “open area” of 74%— allowing all the rain, sun and ventilation that your plant can use.
Plant-damaging insects including the Imported Cabbage Worm, the Cabbage Looper and the Diamondback Moth (all commonly referred to as “cabbage moths”), beetles, grasshoppers, and others cannot penetrate the Moth-Blocker™. Because no eggs are ever laid on the plant, no larvae hatch out to eat the plant. In addition, the
cage is a highly effective barrier for deer, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, cats and other animals.
